          My name is Marjorie Fernandez. I am 23 years young. I'm currently living in Davao City. I am a Licensed Professional Teacher that teaches Humanities and Social Sciences. I am civically fancy-free, and I love traveling and writing. I enjoy this point of my life because I'm in control of everything I want to do which includes professional growth and personal development.

         I took my baccalaureate in Secondary Education in Social Studies at a well-known educational institution in our city, The University of Mindanao. I graduated with a few awards and several engagements during my college years. Right after I graduated, I applied to an educational institution to practice my degree while juggling a review schedule for my licensure. And luckily, I was able to acquire my license in just less than a year after I graduated by God's grace. I just want to take pride in the growth I have now because it's not easy to crawl from scratch to a work-in-progress masterpiece and I owe every single effort to God. He did it all and I am in awe to witness all of those.

            I believe that completing the first ladder of my profession is not a guarantee that I master everything. Hence, I'm still mastering the art of life. I am currently unfolding it through exploring, whether recreationally or academically. I discovered many things as I stridden into different worlds - places to other places and civic engagement after civic engagement. I also found myself fulfilling each aspiration I had before and still aspiring for great things as I am on a larger scale compared to before. As an educator, my learning never stops, and I am still striving to be part of a growing and thriving society. I'm an advocate of change, development, and civic competence. As I took this path, it challenged me and helped me grow in all aspects. I grew so well that it made me do new and big things. Even though I am still in the process of uncovering the best features of myself, still, I can assure you that I am a hard-working person with a strong work ethic, a competent and approachable professional, and willing to learn in everything. As you read this, you may discover the surface part of myself but not the deepest because I am preserving and nurturing every part of me as I want to showcase them meaningfully to every generation.
